The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, and the mighty Bodrum Caslte, towering above the harbour, are well worth a visit. A gentle stroll through the charming town, down the numerous narrow streets is also a wonderful way to spend a few hours.
