Itinerary Experience Hanoi’s unique atmosphere It is always worthwhile to spend a little more time in the exciting city of Hanoi. Explore the vibrant city with its tree-lined boulevards, peaceful lakes, and traditional temples. There is an abundance to discover and experience! The magical atmosphere is sure to enchant you in no time at all. Day 1 (Sat.) – Arrival in Hanoi When you have arrived at Hanoi Airport a transfer bus will be waiting to take you to your hotel in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter. Once at the hotel, you can drop off your bags and head out to explore the lively, colourful streets and immerse yourself in the magical Asian flair. On the first day, you are free to choose what you would like to eat from the rich selection of culinary delights that Hanoi has on offer. From upscale Vietnamese and French cuisine to simple but tasty dishes from the small food stalls, you will find everything in walking distance from the hotel. Day 2 (Sun.) Morning - Hồ Chí Minh Mausoleum At 8 am, after breakfast at the hotel, your guide and driver will be waiting to show you the most beautiful corners of the Vietnamese capital. On the tour, you will follow in the footsteps of arguably the most famous Vietnamese: Hồ Chí Minh. Even decades after his death he is still affectionately called Uncle Hồ. Visit the Hồ Chí Minh Museum dedicated to Hồ Chí Minh as well as the very modest cottage he used to live and work in. In complete contrast to his modest life is the monumental mausoleum where Uncle Hồ was laid to rest, contrary to his wishes. Day 2 (Sun.) Midday - Temple of Literature The tour through this exciting city continues with a visit to the One Pillar Pagoda, one of Vietnam’s most well-known religious buildings, and the Temple of Literature, considered the country’s first university. After a delicious lunch you visit the Museum of Ethnology, where you can learn about the country’s various demographic groups and their way of life. Day 2 (Sun.) Afternoon - Historic Center After visiting the Ngoc Son and Ba Kieu Temples, a guided walk through the bustling Old Quarter, with its 1,000 plus traditional houses, via the sprawling Dong Xuan Market concludes the city tour.
