Our new Plus Tours in 2025

In 2025, we have three brand new PLUS Tours in our program and now ten different routes where you can look forward to less effort and more enjoyment! Our exclusive E-Bike and Boat Tours offer you all the advantages of a uniform group pace as well as the superior comfort of a luxurious motor sailing yacht. New additions are the “Mamma Mia” islands in Greece, the “Lycian Coast” in Turkey and the “West Frisian Wadden Sea” in the Netherlands.

New in 2025: Selfguided Cycling

An Islandhopping cycle tour at your own pace

On our tours - “Highlights of Istria”, “Kvarner Bucht” and “Ionian Islands”, you have the choice between guided cycling tours or self-guided tours where you cycle individually at your own pace.

If you prefer to travel alone instead of with a group, you can cycle the tours independently. For orientation purposes, we provide you with access to the RideWithGPS route app for your smartphone, a detailed cycle map and GPS tracks. Your guides ride the same cycle route at the same time as your fellow travelers as a guided variant. They are therefore close by and can be reached by phone in case of emergencies, problems or questions.

Would you like to spend a few more days immersing yourself in your travel destination before or after your Islandhopping trip? Islandhopping is pleased to offer you individual additional nights near to its ports of embarkation and disembarkation as well as multi-day extension programs. Carefully selected accommodation as well as fantastic pre-organized, varied activities are curated by Islandhopping to allow you to get to know further regions and different sides of the country you’re visiting.

Extension Programs in Greece

NEW: Extension Program Meteora

Would you like to spend a few extra days at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Meteora and would you like a program that offers both pre-organized activities and free time to discover the Greek mainland on your own? Then we recommend our three-day extension program in Meteora. This includes travel to Meteora, two nights in a hotel in the center of Kalabaka or in the village of Kastraki, a varied treasure hunt in Kalabaka and a guided activity of your choice to explore the world-famous Meteora rocks and monasteries.

Extension Program Corfu

Are you travelling to Greece? For all journeys departing from Corfu, we offer a 3-day extension program in Corfu Town, which can be booked either before or after your Islandhopping tour. This includes transfers and two nights’ accommodation with breakfast. You can also choose from one of three guided activities.

Extension Program Athen

If your trip starts in Athens then we recommend our 3-day additional program in the Greek capital for a true all-round experience in the city of seemingly countless possibilities. Transfers are included as well as two overnight stays in a hotel in the city centre, a guided bike tour through Athens, entrance to the Acropolis, and dinner at a typical Greek tavern.

Extension Program Santorini

All Islandhopping tours starting and ending in Athens can also be combined with our 4-day additional program on Santorini. The queen of the Aegean enchants with its breathtaking caldera and colorful cliffs. Included in the program are transfers, three overnight stays in a boutique hotel with breakfast and the choice between a sea kayak tour or a sunset wine tour.

Extension Programs in Croatia

Extension Program Zagreb

If you are travelling to the Kvarner Bay or Istria, you can extend your Croatian holiday with our 2-day extension program in Zagreb. Take the opportunity and explore the multifaceted Croatian capital! The additional program includes transfers, hotel accommodation, a city tour and dinner in a typical konoba.

Our Extension Program in Turkey

Extension Program Istanbul

For all tours departing from Turkey, we offer a 4-day extension program in Istanbul. The cosmopolitan city on the Bosporus lies in both Asia and Europe and is one of the most exciting metropolises of all! The additional program includes transfers, three nights in a hotel, a boat trip on the Bosporus, a 2-day guided cultural tour, entrance to the Hagia Sofia, and dinner in a local restaurant.
