(payable on site in cash to the captain) We are happy to create a tailor-made itinerary fulfilling the individual wishes of our guests. Payment and cancellation policy 2025 Necessary down payment 1st down payment: 20% of the charter rate within 3 weeks after confirmation 2nd down payment: 40% not later than 3 months prior to departure daten Final payment: 1 month prior to departure date. After we have received your final confirmation that you would like to book the departure dates on an exclusive basis (all cabins – charter of the barge), we would send you a booking confirmation. We can give you options for a limited period only. After confirmation from your side, we will need signed contracts within 18 days. Our general conditions incl. cancellation policy and fee will be applicable from that moment. If options are not confirmed within the period given (by signing and returning contract and paying a deposit) we will have to cancel the option in order to enable us to secure other turnover by selling other tours for the barge.The General Terms + Conditions Package Travel Charters for Eurosail Travel are applicable to all of our cycling and sailing holidays and to all of the related travel arrangements and confirmations. If you book a tour with Eurosail Travel, these conditions will become part of the travel arrangement. If any deviating stipulations are applicable to your booking, you will be informed of that fact by us in writing before or when you are booking your tour. Your confirmation is binding. Timetables and other tour information are subject to change, forexample due to meteorological, technical or nautical reasons.
Catering on board Good to know The food served on board is traditional and characteristic for the country. Higher nutritional demands of bikers are taken into account. The on-board chef is a member of the crew and prepares the breakfast and one or two warm meals a day. Breakfast on board generally includes at least bread, butter, cheese, ham, coffee and tea. For lunch/dinner the chef generally serves light fish or meat dishes or vegetarian meals. Dinner is usually followed by a dessert. If you have special wishes please inform us in time before your arrival. Additionally, you have the option to add restaurant visits, tastings, and other exclusive catering options for an additional fee. We are happy to advise you and work together to create a customized offer for your charter.
Guiding and Helping Hands Good to know Accompaniment of a tour guide on board is mandatory when chartering a boat. They are the on board manager as well as the go to person for guests and crew. Groups of 20 people plus will generally be accompanied by two tour guides. Should you wish to have additional tour guides on board, this must be requested early in advance.
